Flatpack 6 is approaching fast, and the team just keeps on growing. We’re now looking for two interns to join us between January and early April – one Festival Assistant and one Marketing Assistant. Hi Selina
I am a third year Fine Art student at Margaret Street and am really interested in lending a hand at this year’s Flat Pack Festival. I was really intrigued by the Festival Assisstant Internship, having done one at Ikon and also at Flowers Gallery in London, but sadly I am not sure whether I could spare three days a week as it is getting to quite a crucial stage with university.
However, this is my reason for writing to you. I was wondering whether you might have any volunteering opportunities left as I would really like to take part in the event! It looks like I will be available one day a week from now until the event finishes (should you need any assisstance with organisation etc.), or possibly a couple of times a week during the event itself.
I have a lot of experience in the realm of art, studying the subject myself, as well as working part-time at Ikon Gallery and having undertaken two (aforementioned) internships.
If you require me to provide any further information ie. CV or references, I will be more than happy to oblige.
