Barry Purves: A Passion for Animation

Writer, animator and director of six award-winning shorts (including the amazing Aardman film Next, pictured), Barry Purves has also directed numerous shows for TV including The Wind in the Willows and Hamilton Mattress and worked on movies like Mars Attacks and King Kong. He has also taught animation all over the world and written a couple of books on the subject, and today he'll be looking back over a career spanning a quarter of a century and talking about the delicate art of bringing puppets to life.

Suitable for ages 15 and upwards.
