Fresh (well, maybe not exactly fresh) from their endeavours in the Rainbow Warehouse last night, Synth Eastwood present a selection of animated shorts which they curated for last year’s Darklight Festival in Dublin. Drawn entirely from submissions, it’s a sizeable platter of new talent working in all kinds of styles. Highlights include Michal Socha’s saucy use of black, white and red in Chick (pictured), Aaron Hughes’ backwards comedy and a satire blending live action and stop-motion from Croatian artist Ana Husman.
